ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

For Admission into:

  • Certificate Programs: GED or High School diploma is
    required.

  • Bachelor Degree Programs: High School Diploma, Nursing Diploma or an Associate's degree is required.

  • Master Degree Programs: Bachelor Degree is required.

  • Doctorate Degree Programs: Master's Degree is required.

Applications

Applications are sent out upon request or they may be downloaded from the website.  Along with the completed School Application, you are required to submit:

  • 3 Reference letters stating why they believe you should pursue this path of studies.

  • One reference letter should be from a Pastor, Leader or Employer.

  • The other two can be from a co-worker, boss, or a friend.

  • No family members are permitted to write a reference letter.

  • A current resume.

  • Official School Transcripts.

Additional Requirements for Application

  • Before the Evaluation Committee can make a decision regarding the candidate acceptance the following provisions are required:

    1.  All College transcripts. This includes nursing schools for nurses.
    2.  A current resume along with 2 recent passport size    photographs.
    3.  Three letters of reference.
         a.  1 from either a Pastor, Elder or Employer.
         b.  2 from either a Supervisor, Co-workers or friend.
         c.  No letters of reference can be from family members.

General Payment Policy

  • Students Pay

  • Application Fee:  Non-Refundable: 

  • $50.00 U.S.

  • $62.50 Canadian

  • Administration Fee: A $150.00 administration fee will be charged for the overall length of the students program.

  • Tuition Program Cost:  The cost per credit hour/program:  $55.00 for Undergraduate Degrees and $95.00 per Graduate Degrees.

  • Certification Program:  $1,000.00 includes all course materials and books.

  • Course Materials:  For the Undergraduate and Graduate Programs all course materials are purchased from the school and are not included in the overall program cost.

  • Down Payment Cost:  Amount varies per course, first payment due prior to course(s) being sent.

  • In-House Payment Plan:  Each student will receive a copy of the payment chart for their program.  All payments are due on the 4th of each month.

  • Payment in Full:  Each course prior to course being sent or payment in full for the entire program. Payment of entire program cost will receive a 10%.

  • $30.00/monthly supervision paid to the supervisor (this is in addition to the Program Cost - there is not a discount on supervisor fees).

  • Credit Card Payments:  We now have PAYPAL available for those students who desire to pay online.

  • Monthly Statements:  PPNC does NOT send out monthly statements.  Payment logs are issued to each student upon their acceptance.  All students are responsible for sending in their payments on time.  All payments are due on the 4th of each month.

  • Checks postmarked after the 10th will be charged a $25.00 late fee if an authorized extension has not been granted (Please see "Tuition Probation").

  • Students on fixed incomes who cannot afford the payments can discuss options with the Financial Department.

  • You are responsible to pay for all course work that has been issued.

  • Withdrawal Fees:                                                                    1.  Program Withdrawal:  A $50.00 withdrawal/drop program fee will be charged a student upon withdrawal/drop from a program.
    2.  Course Withdrawal:  The current auditing fee $60.00 will be charged per course dropped.   

  • When a husband and wife take courses together a 10% discount for the second person accepted.

  • Supervision Payments are made directly to the supervisor and are not considered part of the Program Cost.


Time Requirements

There are set requirements for course completion.  Students may complete the degree program at a reasonable pace.  Once completed and all financial obligations have been met, the Certificate/Degree will be awarded. 

  • Course time for a 2 & 3 credit class is 4-6 weeks.

  • Course time for a 4 credit course is 8-10 weeks.

  • 5 credit course is 10-12 weeks.

  • Non-degree Certification Programs take between 6-8 months to complete. 

  • Those who are signed up for a Certification Program can transfer to a Degree Program, status with the understanding that the course difference will be charged to the student

  • Thesis is to be completed no later than 1 year after completing the program. 

  • Dissertation time is 1½ years after Program completion.

  • During the writing of the Thesis/Dissertation the student is required to have a minimum of 4 supervisions. 

Course Extensions

  • A written formal extension for a course must be submitted to your supervisor.  If it is not in writing, it will not be granted. 

Transfer Credits/Degrees

  • PPNC Bible College & Seminary will accept authentic degrees earned from a recognized University, College, or Nursing Diploma School. 

  • You will need to submit certified transcripts. 

  • Unofficial copies of transcripts are not acceptable. 

  • We give some credit for life experience. 

  • Transfer credits are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Information
 

  • All coursework is done through independent study and mentoring.

  • Student practicum’s are to be done in the location where the student resides.

  • Courses are subject to change, in this event, an equivalent curse will be provided.


Supervision

  • Students are required to have supervision every 4-5 weeks while they are active in the program. This is the time where one-on-one teaching takes place.

  • Supervision payments of $35/per supervision session and are the student’s responsibility. Payments are to be made directly to the supervisor.

  • Appointments are scheduled in advanced and are to be respected. 24 hour advanced notice is required if an appointment cannot be kept.

  • Regularly changing appointment time is strongly discouraged.

  • All students need to have an accessible phone number where supervisors can contact the student and leave messages.

Probation

Academic Probation results when the coursework is not completed within the required time, or when a formal extension has not been granted.  From the day you are formally notified of your probation, you will be given two additional weeks, to complete the course requirements. If the course assignments are still not completed, no credit will be given for the course and you will need to retake the class.

Tuition Probation results when a student exceeds 30 days without making their tuition payment. Tuition payments are due on the 4th of the month.

A late fee of $25.00 will automatically be charged if payment is postmarked after the 10th or a formal tuition extension has not been accepted.

If a genuine financial catastrophe has occurred the student may request a formal tuition extension. This must be in writing, and it is to be addressed to the Administration Department of PPNC Bible College & Seminary. If no extension has been applied for and a period of 60 days has lapsed since the last payment has been made, then the student will be dropped from the program.

When a student is put on Formal Probation, Academic or Tuition, they will have no formal supervision until the situation is rectified.

Tuition Refunds

  • Should a student withdraw from a class before 21 days is up the student will be charged the rate of a class audit.

  • Should the time elapse beyond 21 days when the student withdraws then the full rate of the course will be charged the student.

Senior Paper, Thesis, And Dissertation

All subject topics must first be approved.  Students will be provided guidelines on writing the paper, thesis, or dissertation.  In lieu of a Senior Paper, Master’s Thesis or Doctoral Dissertation, a pre-approved project may be done.
 

  1. Bachelor Degree:  15,000 words/app. 65 - 70 pages.

  2. Master’s Thesis:  20,000 words/app. 80 - 100 pages.

  3. Doctorate Dissertation:  40,000 words/app. 150 - 200 pages.

The Thesis and/or Dissertation cannot be reviewed by your supervisor before you turn it in.  The supervisor can however brainstorm with you, review your outline, and discuss content.

For your Bachelor Degree, Master Degree Thesis and/or Doctorate Dissertation your are required to submit four (4) bound copies.  One copy will become the property of the school and the other 3 copies will be graded and returned to the student

All copyrights remain the sole property of the student.  Therefore, if PPNC Bible College & Seminary desires to publish a particular piece of work, the school will request permission from the student.
